<< details
Between 2009 and 2016, Gregory Buchakjian took tens of thousands of reconnaissance photographs documenting each building and its particularities. These were classified by district, sector and building.

The approach was intended to be systematic, the objective being to catalogue all, or at least most of, the samples collected. Nevertheless, the database in no way professes to be a catalogue raisonné, but a survey conducted within a specific timeframe. The 750 buildings listed did not all exist in their dilapidated state at the same time.
