1984 [post 1982 Israeli
invasion / the civil war],
view from my balcony in Ain el Tineh. The sun sets over US military
vessels including USS New Jersey. Built during World War II, USS New
Jersey was re-armed and took part in the Lebanese conflict. It is now
anchored in Philadelphia as a historical monument.
